That was a brutal takedown on Doc Mike. We've got a new #1.

Good smack but the delivery was a little boring.

Proof that Rome is afraid to crown a new champion.

That was great.  Such great takes.  One after after another.

Best call I've ever heard, and I say that a Terrence fan.

I found it funny that Rome kept saying how this was such a strong Smackoff and I kept thinking "Where's the epic take that will win it?" I never heard one. Not a single memorable call.
The best smack was Jay Mohr going all out on Vicky, but that's all his call was. Doc Mike had the best delivery. In past years there were always a couple calls that were instant classics, but not this year. Rome was scratching to find stuff to say after even the best calls.
Vicky was shaking like a leaf as he went wire-to-forgetaboutit. We know he'll never come up with anything other than his same bland, repetitive stuff, and when you throw in the stage fright he gets what he deserves: not even in the top 10.
Maybe Sean will return for 09. If a pro like Jay Mohr can enter, there's really no reason to keep the best smacker of all time out of it.
