WWE Holiday show
« on: December 11, 2006, 06:20:42 am »
Each year the WWE goes over seas and does shows for the troops. Well this year my niece was at one of their shows. She got her pic taken with Edge & The Undertaker. She also recorded a seasons greeting that is supposed to be played on Raw, but I'm not sure if it's tonight or not.

Even though the WWE has turned to a Jerry Springer like theme lately, rack them for still caring about the troops and doing shows for them to give them some entertainment during the holidays away from their family.

I might watch it since they'll have interbrand matches.  The one I really want to see is CM Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin.  That should be epic.

As far as the regular wrasslin' fans back home, the matches usually aren't anything to brag about.  But it's the between matches stuff showing the WWE guys hanging out with the troops and riding in the equipment that make this a cool show.

BTW, early indications show this was taped outside one of Saddam's palaces. referee2
