Best sports games??? Hmmmmm.... Madden '07 is solid, although it's not technically a sports game the Need for Speed series is great too.. Blitz The League is a fun football game also..

 Most of the sports games on 360 so far are not that great. Fight Night Round 3 is about the best and Madden isnt bad. NCAA is good too. But they remove a lot of the extras that are included on the xbox versions.

Well, I got the system today. Also picked up NCAA Football 07. Played it a coupla times....unreal.
The graphics are unbelievable.

I paid $399 for the upgraded package (wireless controller, headset, XBoxLive, etc.)
There is a basic package that runs $299.

 madden 07 is prob the best, Nhl 07 is pretty good too, but id wait for the next mlb in a month or so

Fight Night 3 is the most realistic boxing game on any system, get it.

Madden '07 is pretty nice, graphics are very good.

For Football get Madden or NCAA (that's all you can get)

for Hockey in Basketball I'm thinking 2K sports is better than EA especially if you want to play mutliplayer. 2K sports games has tournament modes and stuff.

There's also that epic ping pong game from Rockstar

Geometry Wars isnt a sports game, but if you consider yourself at all an old school gamer, you owe it to yourself to pay $5 on Live Arcade and get this game, hell I played the free demo for weeks before we got the full version.

I suggest downloading demos of every sports game you may want to get, (and any other game demo too) before you fork out $60 bucks for the full version. Dozens of demos available online, so don't get stuck with somthing lame just cause you want a game to play right out the box

also, Gears of War is the shit

The $39.99 price point makes it an even better buy.. Great freaking game...

What's this Geometry Wars stuff? I may have to check it out.. I've also heard that Fusion Frenzy 2 (late this month I think?) is a really solid game..
