I may.  Oblivion kicks ass, but I'm looking for a good FPS.

FPS that I've played are:  Halo 3, BioShock, Call of Duty 2/3, F.E.A.R., Prey, Rainbow 6 Vegas

The top 3 I would recommend, in order of preference: F.E.A.R. COD2, and R6Vegas.  BioShock I didn't like but most people seem to.  Halo I thought was mediocre, and I had high hopes for it.  But F.E.A.R. on the other hand, I had no hopes for but it's awesome.

I've heard Call of Duty 4 is pretty much a can't miss, but haven't played it yet.

Still playing Nexuiz and Red Faction (a workers v owners story, so it's naturally up Saxon's alley)  ;D

I'm thinking about buying this game for the PS3.  Is it worth it?

Only if you're also willing to end up divorced and jobless over the next few months.

Oblivion is a must-have.

Oblivion is good, I was a total junkie for Morrowind (Elder Scrolls III for us game nerds....Oblivion is Elder Scrolls IV). Anyhow Oblivion is awesome. I'd also recommend Folklore for the Ps3, I've heard in the last few weeks Best Buys and Targets have clearanced it out because it went greatest hits in JPN but sold poorly here. It really is a excellent engrossing adventure rpg game with a good story and mysterious plot. It can move a little slow, but I think it is a good engrossing experience especially since I heard it can be bought for at most $35 and as low as 19.99.
