Well, golly-gosh-gee-willikers - and here I thought Xfactor was about people eating bugs.

I suppose American Karaoke could always survive a few more years by replacing the tard who inspired the ruin of television with an equally loathsome character.

Soloman you either are so briliant I can't understand you, or you are so dumb you don't get it  :uhh

This show will pretty much replace American Idol... it's not going to change anything other than the name of the show that will get all the raitings....

The ruin of television? WTF is gone on television that you miss so much? Network TV has always sucked.

No way near as much as it now does.

Looks like my short lived hope for network tele turning things around was misspent.

'Idol' creator says stars are lining up for Simon Cowell's spot next season

Entertainment mogul Simon Fuller says he's getting daily calls from agents of superstars worldwide who want the gig when Cowell leaves after this season.

Hey Gene - be a mensch and do Fuller a solid by letting him know that he needs not go to the bother of replacing Rudeboy cuz X Factor is going to replace Idol.

I'm seriously thinking about deleting this whole thread... you make no sense... I thought this was a thread of how you thought this whole reality American Idol show crap was going to end with Simon quitting... now you are admitting that it's going to live on?  This thread is a mess and don't be suprised if it's not here after today.

i guess this is the "official" thread for this season  :uhh.

anyhoo, for two nights they've started the competition w/some worthless singers the jumping lady on tuesday (who btw said her mom and voice coach said she could sing :uhh) and last night the guy who tried singing in 1st tenor but, was just awful.

the good:

this might be the year of country music. there were quite a few including the girl who jumps off bridges (nice rack btw) and some other ladies who did the country singing as well.  a couple of brutha's who had some nice vocals as well as the white cop singing some luther vandross (i was shocked that he sang it but, he was really good).

the bad:

the brutha who said he could take constructive criticism but, wouldnt stfu when the judges tried to tell him that he wasn't ready for this competition and that he needed some (they didn't say he couldn't sing; he just needed to work at it) work. he cursed them out and security had to escort him from the bldg. dickhead

the girl who sang pat benatar's battlefield (correct title?) anyway, that wasn't a good song to sing for this competition; so she was behind the 8ball from the start

the girl who tried to sing falsetto and mary j blige just busted out laffing; that was high comedy

the d00d who said he almost died 3 times and forgot the words to the song; he should've left right then

i almost forgot "pants on the ground" that was the highlight of the night.  how he ended up in front of the judges we'll never know but, he was better than some who were serious rack that guy  :koolaid

No one is perfect, Gene - remember, you're the one who posted that XFactor is going to replace Idol.

I must admit that in a sick way I do enjoy the screening process.
I still can't get over the horrid ones who are let through by the sadists at the door.
Why would their family and/or friends want to see them make such fools of themselves in front of millions of people...They must really hate them.
