This is just weird. They look and sound as natural in 2012 as Austin Powers does in 1997.

Last I remember hearing, Wolfgang was the replacement bassist for Michael Anthony.

I just recently saw where DLR was voted the greatest Jewish rock star. I don't know how he beat out Paul Stanley, who actually speaks the yiddish on stage.

The music sounds like it could have come from any VH album from the Van Hagar years, with a hint of Fair Warning mixed in.  Pretty solid sound.  The Lyrics are typical Roth.  Just listen to anything he did post "1984", especially his DLR Band album from 1998 and the 2 tracks they did with Roth for the Greatest Hits album.

This tune is tolerable...until the chorus.  Apparently the new album is not that new, with a bunch of tracks that were actually written some 30 years ago or so.

For those who are going to pay lots of dough to see these guys live, remember one thing.  Michael Anthony is not only a solid bass player, he was the key to the backing vocals with his high pitched singing.  Wolfie may be a decent player but he's no Michael Anthony on vocals.

The fact that Eddie refuses to quit smoking, despite tongue cancer, is testement to his unwillingness to change. Sammy's book portrayed EVH as an intolerant asshole. No way this tour reaches the half way point.

I've got Sammy's book in the on-deck circle.  Hope to get into it this weekend  referee2

When Dave is the sane and mature one, you know this tour is heading for the wrong end of Niagra Falls...
