The Walrus just had the best 1st call in years

This is the type of first call that has been missing from The Jungle. I honestly cannot remember a first time caller smacking down a clone with such a strong effort. This call was like a subdued (2014) version of Oren in Denver ripping Jeff in Richmond from 2006.

War the Walrus. Keep em coming.

It was a good call, but it raises two concerns:

1 - This probably means we're going to have to deal with more Lance in Topeka, since he'll insist on responding and try to make the show all about him.
2 - Smacking Lance in Topeka is like shooting fish in a barrel.  He's annoying, his calls are not clever or funny, he comes across as an insecure attention whore, and he's kind of creepy.  Let's see how The Walrus' game holds up in future calls with something that isn't such blatant fodder.

My city gives me the option of either Jim Rome or Colin Cowherd at that time.

Lance calls at least once per month and would be on air even more frequently if not for the fact that Jim usually leaves him on hold for weeks.  I think he'd call in weekly if he could get on every time he called.  Plus, anytime he hears his name on air, he takes that as a signal to call in, as if him being mentioned merits his immediate response.  He's been told he's a bad caller, he's been told that Jim will only go to him if he's got nothing better to talk about, yet he still seems to think he has some sort of Jungle status.

At this point, I'm almost convinced that it's a rib.  He's gotta be some sort of human behavioral specialist who's conducting some sort of social experiment.  Nobody can be that clueless about how annoying they are much they're not wanted around, right?
