Is it time to retire my "14" hat?
« on: August 10, 2014, 07:55:54 am »
I'm sure that Tony did not intend to mame or kill this guy, but his history of temper tantrums is troubling when you couple it with this event. This investigation could get interesting.  :popcorn

Assumption of risk.  Dude got killed after leaving his car, and the ESPN story says Stewart couldn't have seen him because there was a car in front of him.

No doubt whatsoever that it was intentional.  Stewart swerved into the guy.

He absolutely made no attempt to miss the guy. My opinion is that it was an attempt by Tony to intimidate the kid that got completely out of control. Tony's past transgressions and temper tantrums speak for themselves. Fast cars, testosterone and bad tempers are a lethal mix.

No way they can make any criminal charges stick.  Young dumbfvck wanted to get on the track and point like he was some sort of badass.  He got what he had coming and Stewart will have to live with it.

Kid shouldn't have been in the middle of the track, but reports are that the cars had slowed down significantly because of a caution, and an eyewitness says Stewart had plenty of time to slow down but when he saw the kid he purposely sped up and intentionally hit him. Stay tuned, shit's going to get interesting.

He did not swerve into the guy. What Stewart did was see him at the last min and try and avoid him, the revving you hear and jerk of wheel was 2 things, 1. in those sprint cars the right rear wheel is larger than the left rear and in order to get them to make a quick turn you have to basically hit the gas real hard to get it to make a hard turn, 2. the fishtailing you saw was the dude getting wrapped around the rear tire.  The guy should have kept his ass in or near his car and handled it in the pits after the race not running in a black fire suit across a busy track that was dusty and dark.  I know Stewart has been known to be a hot head but this isnt his style, his style would have been to wait until after the race and let the guy be known as the sprint car driver that Tony knocked the fvck out.
