Political Parties debate.

We'll see how long this can last without getting into a Repubs vs Dems shitfest.  My AP kids are reading Washington's Farewell Address tomorrow, and then will be discussing this question.  What say you??

They're a good thing as far as debating is concerned but can be a bad thing with regard to voting, at least as of today, because any vote cast for a candidate who isn't dem or repub is pretty much wasted due to the lack of any significant third party.

There has been no spin yet.  Of course, now that you're here, that's likely to change.

I am however surprised you are even putting that assignment out there.

Washington has been under attack for centuries by the political left.

Yes it does.  You just have to know when it's happening and you have to understand the ideology of your political foe.

Jefferson is a Diest is one of those things.
George Washington did not have wooden teeth
GW did not chop down a cherry tree
GW was not having an affair with Sally Fairfax

These are myths made up by the political left,  along with of course, calling them racists because they pwned slaves...

And saying that the 3/5 rule was because of racism... when the exact opposite motive was in play.

This is the shit the left does over time.   Re-writing history.   Re-interpreting it.   Changing what the meaning of a word is,  and then using it to interpret the same word that had a different meaning 200-300 years ago.

Last time I checked, Washington owned slaves.  So anyone saying that Washington was a slave owner is correct.

It is impossible NOT to have political parties.  The better question is:  Is a two Party System good or bad?
