JT the Bricks 1995 Smack-off call
« on: October 22, 2014, 04:24:36 pm »
I was able to track down a former employee that had a cassette tape of the 1995 Smackoff.

So far he has sent me JT the Bricks call.  He is sending the rest soon.

I think it lived up to the hype, he covered a lot of material. I liked his take on the baseball strike.

Thanks for posting this

Awesome call. You know why it was good? Because it was mainly a sports call and no smacking of other clones like the crap we heard this past year.

I just heard the first segment of that Smackoff, it includes Doc Mike's call leading things off....I don't know, I wanna say I enjoyed that call more than JT's.  It has more funny, and less "I'm a passionate sports fan who's passionate about my teams" type stuff.

Invariably this Wednesday when I go to Chic Fil A, the woman will ask if the money I left on the counter is mine, and I'll smile and say, "No its yours". - B.P. in Houston

best part was when van smack says " you were up against the legends." Well thank god he didn't have NIN on hold or this call would never had been archived. TIA :koolaid

Yeah, that Brick guy might be a bit TOO much into sports.  I hope he didn't literally mean all he said, otherwise, it's pretty sad.

The banter between Rome and JT was so seamless that it almost seemed choreographed, but it wasnt. Rome's old style
