TAX THOSE MOTHERfvckERS!!!!   :lol

I wonder how many people realize that when a church does something on their sign like they did in this article that they are breaking the law.  Or when priests tell their congregations how to vote as well.

I don't believe that qualifies as a Federal Separation of Church and State issue.  You can say whatever you want in a Private church  :uhh  Nice try though :lol

I think it is a 501c non profit thing. You can't be tax exempt and political.

This also was the case at the little league when I was president.

You just can't use peoples names or party's names.  You can promote "values" that one candidate has over another.  That shit has been going on for ever.

My first thought is b.s. but reading the article there are some points to be made.

Some churches are b.s. and should be cracked down on.

They do use names, though.

1st amendment doesn't have anything to do with being non taxable entity.

I am still not sure of your point.

Churches are by and large non taxable entities.  This comes with restrictions on what the Churches can say and or do.  A few churches have taken advantage of this.  What they are doing is bs and I dont' think falls into the intent of defining this as non-taxable.

These restrictions have nothing do with the first amendment because the churches choose to be taxable or non-taxable.

If they want to make political statements than don't apply to be a non-taxable entity.  At which point you would be correct, they can say whatever they want.
