Who was the best team in weekend 1?

For my money it was the Ravens. Defensively they controlled the line of scrimmage, sacking BR 5 times. Vintage Raven D. Their running game was anemic but Flacco continued to play flawlessly in road playoff games. Say what you want about him but all he does is win big playoff games.

Was also impressed with the play of Cam Newton. Though unspectacular, he made plays when he had to and he is one tough SOB.

Time for Marvin Lewis to leave the sidelines.  Monday through Saturday, he's great, especially with player personnel.  But in game, he's terrible, and nowhere does it show more than in the playoffs.  Make him the GM, but get a new head coach in Cincy.

I'd have to agree with this. 10 points in two games against a less than stellar defense that ranked dead last in the NFL in red zone defense. Enough said, time for Marvin to move on.

Must have watched a different Newton. I thought he played poorly. Lots of missed throws and lucky they got az without a QB.
