Jungle shenanigans
« on: March 12, 2015, 05:48:48 pm »
So...I have a Twitter persona...it really pushes the edges. It definitely doesn't jive with Jim's whole 'brand' awareness. It's nothing overtly offensive ...I like what I like....I follow who I want to follow...I don't press it on anyone. I follow Jim...tweet regularly...regular clone humor.

But I know Jim doesn't approve and I can tell I'm in the Jungle doghouse

But today was the lowest. I sent him a STRONG tweet. A lot of you guys favorite it.

But because I'm on his shitlist..or he thinks I'm a bad look for his brand. He read it....word for word...omitted a few things...and then attributed it to someone else (I suspect a madeup name) with some madeup BS comments tacked on

I've been a loyal clone for over 20 years...since So Cal and the days of the Mighty 690

It was along the lines of the Baracuda segment/tweets....

It read:

'Jim...Number 2-ahhhhhhhhhhh'

signed,
Najeh'

That seems weak to me. Maybe I am missing the context

Sorry you didn't get your credit.

You have to place it the context of the show segment...all the regs were in on  it...and anything went - appearance smack, murder smack, fat smack, drunk smack, rat family smack, anything

A bunch clones liked it... so I knew it was tight

Just more proof that the show isn't what it once was.

And you consider it strong.

Also what is a bunch of clones?  Like 10 people.  Or maybe the 4 it appears that favorited your tweet.  4 out of the millions.  You really need a reality check kid.

It was an average tweet on a slow day that managed to get through.  Let's not make it out to be anything more than that.

So 'average' it got past the screener and got read on air.  It was tight in a clone humor way. Never said it was awesome....or even rackable...Just don't play politics with attribution

that could of been ripped off, but keep in mind that there were probably
a hundred clones that emailed a najeh reset in the heart thread.

could of been a coinkydink.

Dude, that Najeh blast was just so epic, so strong, so fresh -- Jim should turn the show over to you next time he's in the basement.  Fire Lyle, we've found ourselves a new producer/take writer.

Rack him!

Yes, average.  They read several average emails in any given day.

It is a 13 year old joke that has long been part of jungle lore.  There was nothing fresh, "tight", or "strong" about the tweet. You didn't break new ground or anything.  It is like sharing the same old inside joke for 13 years.

As Steve mentioned there were probably 100's of emails and tweets similar to yours.  Some were probably better and never seen, most were probably worse and either never seen or pushed back down the stack.

That is was read was more luck than a reflection of the greatness of the joke. You won a proverbial scratch off and came here to bask in the glory of the moment like you accomplished something.

Congrats for getting read (if you did get read or has Steve mentioned just had a tweet that was pretty similar to someone else and they got read), I know it can be exciting but let's not pretend it was anything more than an average effort of a 13 year old joke that you get in front of the screener first.  It certainly was not strong, tight, fresh, or any other attribute you seem to want to imply and being read doesn't make you smarter, funnier, or give you any more scoreboard than you had the day before.
