If the Primaries were today.....
« on: April 08, 2015, 12:15:38 pm »
Who would you vote for to be your party's presidential contender?

I'm curious as to who is leading the stucknut field.   Granted, it's still too cluttered on the GOP side, and I'm not even sure what/who the Dems are going with (outside of Billary).

I'm anti-Clinton/anti-Bush and can't find a single moderate in the field.

2st.

Anyone but those two knuckleheads.
Rand Paul is already too flip floppy, groveling to any donors that will pay enough attention to him.
Ted Cruz has yet to make any kind of original statement about anything. MORE FREEDOM. TAKE AMERKA BACK. blabhblahblah.
Jeb Bush is the maroon the right-wing media is pushing. Which means more of the same.
I think Scott Walker is my front runner. He has proven he can win in a traditionally blue state. Plus he scored mas puntos by telling teh teachers union to stick it :koolaid

The dems are trying to find an alternative to Hillary and they can only come up with O'Malley who ruined his state and Elizabeth Warren who is basically Obama with a vagina.

As a Dem, I'm disappointed in the field.  I guess it's Billary's for the taking, since nobody else wants to really step up.

Usually there is somebody on the repub side that I can get behind. (McCain, before he went cuckoo.  Colin Powell)  Obviously I want a moderate who is not going to rock the boat too much and promote radical changes.  Radical changes always piss off half the people and in turn makes everything more polarized.  I just want a common sense candidate and I really don't see one.

I agree with the takes so far.

At this point there is no one who stands out.

I am hoping the Dem sides gets more involved once they realize the base is not very excited about Hillary.

I am hoping for the repubs that someone can come out that is sensible.

Tough election right now.

I'm hoping Gary Johnson takes the Libertarian spot again. He got 1% of the total vote last year. I'm pretty sure that with better planning and advertising 4 years later he can get that up to 2%. Doesn't sound like much, but to the big two, it's massive. It shows a ideological swing, and good potential for expansive growth.

Ted Cruz.

He's actually very clear on what he wants to do.     He says he wants to abolish the IRS and Repeal every word in Obamacare.

So I'm in.

Thanks for doing my research for me.  Cruz is the enemy in 2016.
