favorite breweries?
« on: April 22, 2015, 09:00:08 pm »
I'm a drunk.  But I'm a drunk with a trust fund, so I only drink good stuff.  What are your favorite breweries?

Personally,  my top three are:

Pelican Brewery (Oregon)
Dogfish Head (Maryland)
Russian River (southern norcal)

But not in that order

They are in Santa Rosa.  Some people consider Sacramento area to be Nor Cal.  Some people call Bay Area Nor Cal.  I don't.   I'm from Redding.  Redding is Nor Cal.  So I refer to Central as Southern Nor Cal sometimes.   Russian River makes a good beer though.  Highly recommended.

They're all in VA/Delaware. I wasn't sure if this was favorite breweries or favorite beers from the breweries.

I visited each of those places and they're pretty cool spots. Sam Adams has an amazing brewery, but I only like a couple of their beers.

Great point because there's a lot of breweries out there with great food but their brews are only average at best.
