Country Music play list
« on: April 29, 2015, 07:02:19 pm »
Help me out here, I like to think I have a pretty good grasp of country music but it's always nice to hear other opinions.

Hank Williams III is always a good listen but I want some "new" stuff that's a good listen. Don't come at me with some Jason Aldean shit either, he's the suck.

What's that sound?

Covers are fine. David Allen Coe is preferred, mostly because I am a racist.

New "country" is simply Nickelback in cowboy hats.  Avoid it at all costs.

As Learjet said, new country is Nickelback in cowboy hats or some pop/country hybrid that appeals to retarded 13 year old hicks.

Which is why I fvcking hate it and don't even listen to radio "country"10
The day I turned off local 105.1 is when I changed 98 Rock from Staind only to find Kid Rock playing on 105.1. Obviously radio has become far too corporate no matter your music genre taste.

Present day, it begins and ends with Jamey Johnson. Truly a throwback to the outlaw country era. I've seen him live 4 times and every show kicks ass.  :drink

Your fiancé is a moron.

BTW, a fiancé is a man engaged to be married.  A fiancée is a woman engaged to be married.
