So suddenly it seems as though this Supreme Court ruling is going to affect the Jock Taxes other states have.

Though I kind of agree with the one Tennessee has (capped and collected to operate the publicly financed arenas)

SCOTUS is almost never 9-0.

This court has shown its willingness to favor big corporations over individual and taxpayer rights time and again; thankfully it looks like the individual can still be protected from the state.

there are liberal justices and conservative justices. Your kagan sotomayor and drunky ginsburg are liberals.  They would support taxing you at 100% and putting people in re-education camps. Then you have your breyer who is middle of the road.  Finally kennedy roberts scalia thomas and alito are the voice of reason.

Here is the next question:

How can they double tax dividends - same story.   Corporations pay tax then the stock holders pay even more? How is this legal?

Dividends are income to the individual, not the corporation.  Pretty simple, really.

That black conservative judge "with an actual brain in his head" dissented on this opinion, voting for double taxation.

Dividends are taxed as capital gain AND income.  Therefore double taxation.

Dividends are NOT taxed as a capital gain.  They are income.

And capital gains are not taxed as income, they are subject to a privileged rate with some exceptions.

already been taxed.

I know the point you're making, but it's two separate entities.  The corporation and the individual.
In this case, it's the individual paying tax on the same income to two separate states.
