Stucknut Musicians Gear Inventory
« on: September 10, 2015, 08:23:39 am »
I have lots of gear. Somewhere north of 25 guitar/basses. Amps, keyboards, pedals, processors, etc....

I will poat some pics and stats on a couple of these every few days over the next few months. By myself, I could make this thredeard 5 pages. If all you Stucknut "musicians" chime in with some of your gear, maybe we can make this threared at least 6 pages  :uhh

Ibanez RG 270.

I got this guitar when I was about 19 or 20 around '95 or so...

Over the years it has undergone many changes, lots of pickups, lots of paint schemes.

Currently it has EMGs 81/85 active pickups in the bridge/neck I swapped out of a Les Paul Custom.

The single coil in the middle was one I made back in about '92 from some kit. I haven't quite figured out how to do active and passive pickups together yet, so its just filling in the hole for now.

One volume and one tone.  5-way selector switch is really just a 3-way now with the EMGs installed.

Floyd Rose, double locking tremolo. 12 Gauge shotgun volume and tone knobs.  Action is kept pretty low on the high side, maybe a little high on the low side.

Its set up for E flat Standard tuning.

Here is Boges with a tan and his geetar

Turd - I have never really bought into the genius that is Turd.  I know he is well loved and considered a great poster.  His brand of humor just doesn't do it for me.

This 1992 Jackson Stealth is the guitar I keep at work to pass the time away.

I was driving through the hood one day when a guitar at a yard sale caught my eye as I was driving by. I only had like $30 on me but I thought, what the hell, I'm gonna check it out anyways...

I asked the fattie running the sale how much? She says $7. I threw her a ten and told her to keep the change. "He must know something we don't" was the last thing I heard before I slammed the car door shut.

Looked it up on the Jackson wepsite when I got home and saw they retailed for $695.

Gave it a good cleaning and setup (E Standard) and it plays like a dream.

Scoreboard, bitch.
