Jim Rome's Radio Hall of Fame Results
« on: September 18, 2015, 12:15:43 pm »
The 2015 Radio Hall of Fame votes are in, and Jim Rome didn't make it  :'(

Clark Howard gets the nod for the "spoken word" category.

I find it hard to believe that a guy no ones heard of got more votes than a guy with a national radio show

Tell me about it.  Rome had radio, tv and social media working in his favor and loses to a Georgia radio host?  At worst I figured Jim would squeak by Dr. Laura since she's sort of beloved, but the clones outnumber most of these other fanbases no way Jim should have lost this, I bet Clark doesn't even let his callers sing.

I'm calling shenanigans on this.

this was the first time they allowed listeners to vote.
the clones probably broke their shitty vote system, or maybe they thought cbs campaigned too hard for romey and it wasn't fair to the clark howards of the world.

Bob & Tom? Ouch.

All I need is a roof over my head, a decent steak every once in a while, Bob and Tom in the morning, and classic rock that really rocks all day. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

Now that the super popular radio icon that didn't have a Showtime show or pro quarterback come across the table Clark Howard goes in first ballot, Romey has got to make it this year right?
