TV Schedule
« on: September 29, 2015, 08:24:14 am »
Already in week 3 (and the upcoming week) the following teams have been or will be featured 2x in prime time (Thursday/Sunday/Monday nights):

Kansas City
Green Bay
Pittsburgh (this Thursday)
Detroit  (upcoming Monday)  :uhh
Dallas (upcoming Sunday)

what gives; why is the NFL/ESPN/NBC showing the same teams over and over hell even the Pats haven't been in PT as much.  I'm not advocating a Jags v Browns showdown on either of the 3 nites but, there are other teams that should be on during these times.

I am sure it is based on ratings and which games they thought were interesting.

Many of those teams have your larger fan bases right now.

The Green Bay Packers should be featured even more than they are now.

The teams play in primetime on a rotation basis until December, when NBC gets the flex game option.

Every team has a Thursday night game during the season. That's why there's mostly shitty matchups that night.
I can't explain the other network decisions. I thought they fixed this with a flex schedule option a couple of years ago?

They still have flex schedule for Sunday night games, but that doesn't kick in until after Thanksgiving

I'd watch Jags vs.  Bucs as long as Joe Buck wasn't calling it.

yeah, LJ I knew the flex schedule would kick in later on into the season but, I guess I'm just worn out already by seeing the same teams.
