Wouldn't be shocked if the Cubs have a let down next season.

Atlanta 28th at +10,000. How the mighty have fallen.

The White Sox are way too high on that list, they are putrid.

I would agree regarding the Cubs.  I almost get a Washington Nationals feel from them.

Everyone will have them so hyped up that a shocking bad season feels just about right.

I can see the Cubs sliding back some as well,an 84-87 win type season (which could still sneak them into the wild card).

The Mets will be making a number of offseason changes so even with their pitching they're a little hard to figure at this stage

The red Sox are rated awfully high.

The red Sox are rated awfully high.

Money always moves the big teams, and they are going to be making a ton of free agent buys.  It still won't get them above 4th in that division.

Giants are probably the best value wager, even year and all

Nats odds are too high, they might win the NL East next year but they're not built to win in the playoffs and their key pieces can't stay healthy.

If the Cubs pick up another pitcher, they'll be fine.  Greinke or David Price?

It's always "if" with the Cubs.  I hear stories from Chicago that the Ricketts family already thinks they spent enough on the team, and they want to begin to see a return.  Scott Boras wants to talk contact extension with the team, and judging what he's trying to pull with Jose Fernandez, I wonder if the Cubs will just pitch this guy into the ground and let him go to free agency.

It's nice that the Cardinals are included in this.  Perhaps getting Waino and Molina back will be good.  But I don't see them getting past KC at this point.  And that hurts to say.

KC has its own free agency issues. They're young but they certainly have spots to fill or pay for this offseason.
