College Football Playoff
« on: November 28, 2015, 10:48:39 pm »
Oklahoma is in after destroying Ok. St.
The winner of the Big1G championship game is in, MichiganState or Iowa.
If Bama wins over Florida next week, they're in.
If Clemson beats NC, they are in.

But, if UNC beats Clemson do they take UNC?
Same if Florida beats Bama.  After losing to FSU this week, do they take Floriduh?

PAC 12 is out :lol

If Bama pisses in their own face and loses to Florida somehow, Ohio State finds a way in, especially if Michigan St beats Iowa. Iowa's strength of schedule is laughable other than this Michigan State game.

UNC is a tough one. They'd be a 1 loss team but also beat the #1 team in the nation. And you know the CFB Playoff Committee just LOVES a conference champion.

In that case, Go Bama.   I hate Ohio State.

I can't see Florida getting in now even by beating Bama. Too far down the playoff ranking chart and a chance was right in front of them with FSU at the Swamp tonight, and they got their asses handed to them.

UNC beating Clemson could vault them in especially if Bama loses, and a Bama loss would also open the door for the MSU/Iowa loser especially if it's Iowa since they would still only have 1 loss. UNC's problem is their SOS, lost to SC and their only win over a ranked team was Pitt who's lost 3 of their last 5 now and doesn't look like a quality win anymore. I can't see Ohio St. sneaking back in the picture since they had a cupcake schedule for 2 months and then lost to MSU at the Horseshoe last week when they played a game that actually mattered.

Bama might still get in even with a 2nd loss but they would need MSU to lose to Iowa.

If Bama loses, they are out.  You can't have a team losing their way into the playoffs.

Uh, that proposed win over Clemson will be a quality win of serious proportions.

If Oklahoma wins the National Championship and their only loss was to the Texas Shorthorns who are scared to play the Aggies ....does that make Texas A&M the de facto Champs  :popcorn

I'd lay some money on a NC game with Bama and Oklahoma in a game that actually meant something for Saban and the players.

Still trying to wrap my head around Iowa being in the picture. They havent played anyone worth a shit and still moved into the top4. Wins over Wisconsin and Northwestern were only two against teams in top 25, rest of their schedule was garbage.

Undefeated means a lot to the committee.  Wins at (currently) ranked Wisconsin and Northwestern, and beating 8-4 Pitt help.
