Netflixs' "Making A Murderer"
« on: January 26, 2016, 08:39:12 am »
If you have Netflix this is a must watch.

Basically it tells the story of a man Steve Avery of Mantiwoc County in Wisconsin who was accused of raping a lady.  I won't go any further than that because if you are going to watch I don't want to spoil it.

There are 10 episodes & each lasts' about an hour give or take a few minutes

I had it on my watch list, then last month EVERY radio show I listen too broke
it down, spent days on it, and now I don't even care if I watch it.  I'm burned
out on it.

I watched the series -   There are so many reasons why he should not be in jail.  For starters, the same people who participated in the first murder investigation and trial were the same idiots who participated the second time around.  No conflicts there huh?

I believe he is innocent on the first murder, not sure about the second.  Its pretty messed up.

He still may be guilty.  I think the larger takeaway is the complete debacle of a clusterfvck the investigation and prosecution was.

And think about this-there are two guys in jail, for the same murder, and they were put there on two astronomically different prosecution theories.  That is absurd.

That nephew or cousin or whatever, clearly isn't dealing with a full deck.  Too much inbreeding if you ask me.  How can they convict someone that has an IQ in the low 70's?

Exactly.  Any production can show a slant and get you to believe one thing or another.

I don't know if he's guilty or not, but the series did illustrate complete incompetence in the small town sheriff's and police department, and even the judge made some questionable rulings.  It was a clusterfvck.

Borderline?  The dude seemed full on macrocephalic, chest-bumping, mouth drooling, gimpy-legged D U M B.

Okay, so he wasn't gimpy-legged....but still.  That fvcker had two less brain cells than frank.

the nephew, Dylan was how should I say..."slow".  he changed his story so, many times that it was ridiculous.  his 2nd lawyer should've been disbarred for serving him up to the prosecution on a a silver platter.

I still don't think Steve kilt that lady.  to many questions left unanswered and that test tube of blood....

That is exactly how I felt they obtained his confession.  He is a people pleaser and said yes to whatever they wanted to hear.

My favorite part is when kept asking if he could go home after admitting to murder. He clearly had no idea how bad his story was for him. I feel bad for the kid more so than Steven.

I like how the prosectors keep saying key evidence is left out when I recall everything they mention.

I am with turf though that trying two different guys with two different theories seems fvcked up.
