Do you need anything special to make a podcast

Years ago it wasn't too complicated.  Except you need some things.  A shoutcast plugin for winamp** and also server access.  Also a microphone.  And some trial and error.  Soon enough you'll be on air.


** assuming you're using Windows (not Mac)

I use Mac. I can't seem to upload Youtube stuff. Which is probably for the better.

I believe a lot of the :lol mac users were  using something called "Nicecast."

Hi. MAC-man here. I use Nicecast and a great application called djay. Use djay and my iTunes. Fairly simple to set up and broadcast here once you have the "keys" to Stucknut radio. I haven't done a show here in a while, but still do one over at T1B.

I usually play tunes on Thursday nights from around 8:30 PM EDT to 10 or so. This Friday I may fill in for Smackie Chan around the same time. One of our regulars records shows and puts them on a Nam Vet's web site. Visitors are welcome. Leave your "smack" at the door.
