I have a a complaint about the rome show
« on: June 28, 2016, 05:52:55 pm »
When the host latches onto an "urban" term or word he NEVER lets go of it.

To paraphrase Jim in Fall Rivers:

JIM, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WILL YOU PLEASE STOP USING THE WORD "BOUNCE"?!

You will not hurt your 'street cred' if you switch up once in a while and just say "leave" or something
like that.

Also, LeSean McCoy. You DO KNOW you don't HAVE to call him "Shady" EACH AND EVERY FREAKING
TIME HE IS IN THE NEWS?

FFS why not keep saying "all that and a bag of chips" and "It's bomb"?

How about instead of saying "Bounce" you could still keep your street cred if you use the phrase "fvcks off"

Instead of "Shady" just say "Street criminal" or "Thieving scumbag."

Stop trying SO EFFING HARD TO BE URBAN. It works out fine just sprinkled in.

Got that, Mike in Indy—EEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR Rome?

Is that it? That's all you do. You make 'cute' suicide references at people.
You do and say the same thing over and over and over again—no matter
the reference!

Over and over and over. The same freaking suicide thing again, and again,
and again.

You do know there isn't an emojie for it, right? There should be. A big
David Carradine noose. That would satisfy your banana jack-off along
with your suicide jack-off.

fvck me, I lost track of what I was addressing while addressing you. That's
how boring you are.

You should kill yourself. It would probably be one of those things where you
give your wrists just a tad more shallow a slit than is really needed for the job.

More likely you would cut a sleeping pill in half, hug your teddy bear, leave
a note ripping into your "significant other" and then be awoken the next day,
not by the paramedics, but by your shift boss, saying, "Again?"

Dude, if I'm addressing the wrong person, please forgive me. It's just that all of
the posts on this site run together in a boring blur that makes me want to blow
my brains out.

Could not agree more. Jim is a few months older than me and his efforts to be hip and relevant are embarrassing. I could not picture myself talking like this with my friends. On the other hand, if I asked my teenage son if he and his pals wanted to go get a sando I would really score points.

you cant expect romey to change the way he talks overnight.
he's been using "hip" lingo his entire career.

he avoids the really annoying terms the kids use like "totes", "fleek", "ratchet"

i dont even know what that shit means.

im a young guy and I don't think Rome does anything wrong by choosing some of his "hip" wording. It's usually pretty funny and never annoying.

Totes = totally
Fleek = on point or perfect
Ratchet = very ghetto. A ratchet bitch is the same as a hoodrat chickenhead in 2001
