Warriors get better, Spurs get older

75-7 next year is on the horizon...who wins MVP, Steph or KD?

Klay helped recruit him. He knows what is going on. Why would he demand a trade after that. Maybe he actually just wants to win.

He just became option #3.  That means at least two passes have to happen before he touches the ball.

Like that is going to happen.

EVERYBODY will be option 1.  That's the beauty of it, they'll just have too many guys.   And with the way the NBA works, with so much dependence on 1-on-1 play and the defense rotating to help, etc, what happens when the D rotates to help and has to leave Klay wide open?   Or off a defensive switch Durant now finds himself one-on-one against a smallish guard?

Stuff like that.  I'm not some basketball strategist but I do know the Warriors will just present a nightmare for teams as far as how many options they'll have to kill you with.  You might get a few stops on them, but over the course of a game, possession after possession, it'll just be relentless, and you can only hope their guys are having off nights, or that their defense is so bad you can match them shot-for-shot for a while.

If only Buss had made it clear that West is THE man and West knew he wouldn't
have to deal with the clusterfvck that was the Jackson-Buss-Buss triangle, he might
still be pulling the strings there.

I'd bet big money on the Lakers being improved this year.  Sure, they may not be a playoff team, but now that Kobe isn't there destroying them, they'll be much better.

Kobe was arguably one of the greatest players ever, but he did nothing but hurt the Lakers the last two or three years eating up all their cap space, under performing, and being injured a lot.   If he'd taken a page from the Dirk Nowitski handbook, the Lakers could have put some players around him.  I'm just glad he's fvcking gone.

Dan Marino did the same thing to the Dolphins.  He stuck around too long and it hurt the franchise for the next generation.
