Cavs Meltdown
« on: July 21, 2017, 04:14:42 pm »
Apparently Kyrie is sick of LeBron bailing on teams so he asked for a trade. Said he wants to go to either the Knicks, Heat, Wolves, or Spurs.

Just another good player about to join the western conference.

Lebron will bail next year to the West.

Cleveland got their title, and now it's back to their rightful spot at the bottom of the East.

The bottom of the East will be worse than the bottom of the G League (formally D League)

of the teams he wants to be traded to none of them make sense from the Cavs point of view.

Miami - nothing or no one currently on the team would come be worth the Cavs time.  unless its a multiple team trade; it won't happen.

Knicks - they could offer Kristaps Porzingas which would be decent trade.  If they would have selected Dennis Smith, Jr. in the draft instead some frenchie (Frank something) they could've packaged him w/K.P. but, we'll never know.

Spurs - other than Kawhi (if its being considered the fans are lighting the RiverWalk on fire) who/what do the Spurs have to offer?

Wolves - this outside of the Knicks would be the next logical.  Wolves give up Andrew Wiggins & and maybe a draft pick.

others:

Rockets - CP3 for Kyrie straight up.  this would make LBJ have wet dreams on a nightly basis.  they want to play together (possibly next year if LBJ leaves)

Wizards - John Wall for Kyrie straight up.  JDub just signed that extension ($146 mil?) w/the Wiz but, I'm sure if he could Dan Gilbert would do this in a heartbeat.  Wall is more of a playmaker and he will play some defense.
