Has Jim mentioned anything about KB's replacement? If he has I've missed it.

They hired another producer named Adam Hawk, plus they still have Austin Huff and Dave Whelan.

Alvin should be producer.  Not sure if he wants the position but he knows the show better than anyone outside of Romey himself.

I was kind of hoping that the real SHOCKER of the smack-off would be a surprise call from Lyle Grant -- I figured he had endured tons of terrible takes that would probably know how to lay down an amazing call (Unlike Weighson Chewert lets say).

But the other day Rome said on-air that he hadn't talked to KB in a while. He was one of the best parts of the show in the early 2010s from guest hosting to just coming in studio and getting put on blast by Rome for whatever he had been doing.

I hope that KB isn't gonna get totally cut out from mention or ever calling/commenting again ala Travis Rodgers. The Sparrow is still early in his tenure but he doesn't yet seem to have the wings (heyo) to hang with those 2 legends.
