Define "more gun control". How can we have "more" if we basically don't have any?
If you equate gun control to guns being banned, any argument would be flawed from the outset. However, if you're willing to accept that more stringent background checks, closing loopholes that allow people to buy guns without background checks, and potentially mental evaluations and gun safety courses required before purchasing guns, I think progress can be made.
Too many people assume gun control means an outright ban on guns...and under that premise, we aren't going get anywhere.
