I will give a rack a day for the next 59 days for the first person who can make a convincing argument for why more gun control will prevent shit like this from happening in the future

Because guns will be in the hands of criminals instead of deranged nutjobs who want to commit mass killings. Better them committing burglaries and home invasions or random murders than people like SnaIQ going mass murder.. :uhh

Define "more gun control".   How can we have "more" if we basically don't have any?

If you equate gun control to guns being banned, any argument would be flawed from the outset.  However, if you're willing to accept that more stringent background checks, closing loopholes that allow people to buy guns without background checks, and potentially mental evaluations and gun safety courses required before purchasing guns, I think progress can be made.

Too many people assume gun control means an outright ban on guns...and under that premise, we aren't going get anywhere.

Nuance is boring. You either can hoard 42 guns and hack them to be fully automatic or you can't.  :lol

Duh.  If you outlaw guns then there won't be any gun crime.

I'm pretty sure he had guns set up so he could switch when the barrel heated up. Didn't he have two tripods set up?

It's hard to justify the practical means of hoarding 42 guns, unless we find out most were historical rifles.

But I'm also not going to pretend that any level of violence will change the culture ingrained in Murika regarding guns. Especially with Trump in office, he's too busy malting on Twitter over Latinos.

By all means continue buying guns. I'll just continue to live next to a city the size of Chicago that never gets more than 100 murders a year.  :koolaid
