Oh yeah... I went to see Metallica. Sold out show broke an attendance record for the PNC Arena...on a Monday night no less.

They were pretty gode.

I was diagnosed with a pneumonia and bronchitis about 2 weeks ago so getting up to my 3rd level seats about kilt me. Took about 30 mins to catch my breath once we got there.

I got a lil drunk...that cost another $100. Wife got a lil drunk too...that was another $80.

They played 18 songs in 3 hours.

The stage setup in the center of the arena was nice for the peeble in the pore seats.

Already saw a bunch of videos from the show on youtube. If you look close you can see me in some of them. Im easy to find. I'm the white guy in a black Metallica tshirt that knows most of the words.

I was looking to buy some Ozzy and Megadeth tix for this summer today but I see that Ozzy just cancelled his whole euro tour withJudas Priest cuz he has a pneumonia and bronchitis too.

I might wait a lil bit before dropping another 5 bills on that one.

:lol I remember seeing Metallica in Ft Myers, Fl on the Black Album tour in '92... I was 17 and mt GA ticket was $22.50. Spent the whole show in the front row. James threw me a pick which I still have somewhere... and my friend was handed a drumstick and shared his beer with Lars. Bought a t-shirt for $15.

Parking at the show Monday night was $33.

Its crazy how things have changed just because we steal our music now.

actually, the very first metallica recording ever was a song they put out on the Metal Blade compilation album before Dave Mustaine joined the band and it was a baclek guy named Lloyd Grant that played the lead guitar on it.
