astros as of today

catcher
collins-yankees-.275
chirionos-astros-.267

1B
gehrig-yankees-.373
gurriel-astros-.269

2B
lazzeri-yankees-.309
altuve-astros-.243

3B
dugan-yankees-.269
bregman-astros-.269

SS
koenig-yankees-.285
correa- astros-.296

OF
muesel- yankees-.337
brantley-astros-.324

ruth-yankees-.356
springer-asrtos-.320

combs-yankees-.356
reddick-astros-.326

also, altuve is way below average and will improve. he's normally .300+. springer has 17 HRS so far but doesn't match ruth. bergman will improve greatfully. have to give it up gehrig was the bomb. remember this was 1927.

still have to give it to the yanks. any thoughts?

pitchers just for kicks/ERA/SO9/WHIP

Verlander/astros/2.38/10.8/0.793
Hoyt/yankees/2.63/3.0/1.155

Cole/astros/3.56/13.8/1.038
Pennock/yankees/3.00/2.2/1.302

Miley/astros/3.51/6.1/1.149
shocker/yankees/2.84/1.6/1.240

Peacock/astros/4.01/8.6/1.125
Ruether/yankees/3.38/2.2/1.380

the yanks didn't strike out alot of opponents. astros have the advantage on WHIP easily. yanks a better ERA overall.
