Lincoln Riley :New Browns' coach ?

How 'bout Oklahoma Sooners coach and offensive wizard Lincoln Riley as the Browns' next coach ? He'd likely get the most out of Baker and the boys ala Kilff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray with the Cardinals .

worst fear is they luck their way into the playoffs and they really have to think about keeping Kitchens on as HC. he sucks. Cannot manage a game if it's close and is way too stubborn to do the obvious good ideas.

As it stands right now the Browns are 4-6; it'll take a sacrificing from the Browns to the football gods in order to get in.  They obviously aren't eliminated but, they'll need to damn near win out and hope for some serious ball bouncing.

Them winning the division is out as the Ravens are literally running away with it @ 8-2.  A full 4 games back w/6 to go; aint gonna happen so, they'll have to get in as a wild card.

Steelers are 5-5

Raiders
Texans
Colts
Are all at 6-4.  The Texans & Colts play against each other 1 more time and that could determine the AFC South winner and knock the loser out.  The Raiders played both (losing to the Texans and beating the Colts).  Muh Raiders need the Texans to win the division because they own the tiebreaker against the Colts.

Bills 7-3 (first W.C. as of now)

The Browns schedule allows them an opportunity to get themselves at least into the hunt:
Bengals- 2x
Steelers
Arizona
Ravens - forget this one; its an L  :lol
Phins

They'll need to win 5 of the 6 to get to 9-7 and even that won't guarantee a spot.

So, yeah Kitchens is prolly done.

They have one of the easiest remaining schedules in the league.  I can see 8-8 easily, and 9-7 is likely.  Still, no playoffs this year.

But considering how shitty the Browns have always been, getting to .500 might be enough to keep that fat fvck around another year.    Not saying he deserves another year, but I don't think they fire him this year.

I agree with Dog. I don't think they fire him.  I mean how many times can you fire a coach after just one year.  Not a great idea.

I agree they shouldn't fire him after 1 year but, given the weapons on both sides of the ball; mgmt may want to move on.

No.  I think they SHOULD fire him.  He sucks.  I don't think management will fire a coach that takes Cleveland to their first .500 season since...........?????  I can't even remember.

If he doesn't make it to .500,  gone for sure.  If he gets to .500, they'll hold on to him and let him go half way through next season.
