Do you want to invest? Or do you want to gamble?
I've loaded up on ETF's for the long haul in my personal accounts.
MegaCap ETF' from Vanguard Symbol MGK
A Schwab Dividend Equity ETF Symbol SCHD
International Equity Vanguard Symbol VT
and a few others.
Along with mutual funds, those are my untouchables for the long term and I drop money in them every two weeks.
Recently I've bought Apple, Amazon, Costco, RDS Shell, and Disney on the dips. Although Disney might fall even more, but they're a solid company at a discount right now.
I also picked up a bunch of GE and Ford on the cheap, but I don't feel too strongly about those.
For some speculative fun, I bought Slack Technologies (WORK) and Plug Power (PLUG)
I'm kind of losing my ass on Energy Transfer LP (ET), but the dividend yield is about 23% at today's prices.
