This is on Amazon Prime. I just finished Ozark and am looking for another series. I've read all the Clancy novels. Is Jack Ryan any good?

It's ok. If you're a Clancy/Jack Ryan fan, you'll probably like it.

It doesn't seem to follow any of the stories from the books yet.

I've read all the Jack Ryan books and a few of the Ryan Jr. books. I enjoy the show, I hope that it can go on for a while.

It's Jack Sr., but a modern one. In the first episode he's a young analyst/desk jockey but it gets spicy pretty quick.

First season's good, second season kinda sucks in my opinion. I just think Krasinski is severely miscast, in fact in order of appearance the Jack Ryan's they choose have gotten progressively worse (Baldwin, Ford, Affleck, Pine, Jim Halpert). Whatever happened to Gary Cooper?
