Dream Team 2 > Dream Team
« on: July 17, 2020, 10:07:09 pm »
Dream Team 2 was better than the original Dream Team.

Larry Bird had a hurt back and didn't do much. Magic was one year off retired from HIV, and Christian Laettner.
Yes, Michael Jordan..

But look at Dream Team 2... Centers were Hakim, Robinson, and Shaq.. all in their primes.
Gary Payton, Grant Hill, Reggie Miller, Barkley, Penny Hardaway.. all pre injury in their prime.

Malone and Stockton off the bench with Mitch Richmond and Scottie Pippen..

there is some confusion with Dream Team 2.
1996 Olympics is Dream Team 2

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1996_United_States_men%27s_Olympic_basketball_team

Who was on the other Dream Team II ?
in Toronto.
Dream Team II: Derrick Coleman, Joe Dumars, Kevin Johnson, Larry Johnson, Shawn Kemp, Dan Majerle, Reggie Miller, Alonzo Mourning, Shaquille O'Neal, Mark Price, Steve Smith and Dominique Wilkins.

tried to find a gud thread on the playoffs, not there.

https://sports.yahoo.com/milwaukee-bucks-win-overtime-game-4-miami-heat-giannis-antetokounmpo-injury-playoffs-222739789.html

great game to watch here. the heat on a winning streak but couldn't hold on. anticampo out in the 2nd but the bucks held on. would like to see more games like this. bucks still have a long road to go. no one has ever came back after down 3-0.

I'm still not sold on Lebron.  Kobe was 5 times better. Jordon was 10 times better.  Even Shaq has more rings. Far as bird goes - just take the entire Celtics team too that was a basketball MASHINE.  Nobody ever gives Scotty pippen any props. How about Reggie Miller - that dude belongs. Allen Iverson too if he could just put down the booze.

My team is
Kobe
Lebron
Kareem
Magic
and Jordon.

He should have been a laker but was stuck on shitcago.

A young Barkley on both teams... I think Barkley scored the most points during 1992 Olympics than any other player on that team that olympic team year, who could forget if you were 14 at the time?
You can fact check me on that....
