Been hearing about this for a looong time, and it's finally coming out in a few months.

You guys think it will be any good?

I'm a huge Sopranos fan.  Actually watching the series again right now.

I'm excited to see this.

I hope Gandolfini's son does well. Gotta be weird playing your dad as one of the most famous character in TV history.

Nothing better than a time period gangster movie.  :koolaid

I've been fascinated with the 70's-80's new york mafia. Now brought down to New Jersey.

The Roy Demeo Crew, Johnn Gotti, the hit on Paul Costellano.

This is the John Gotti movie that is good. Not the Travolta one.
Its not completely accurate but a great free movie on youtube

I read the book, its hard to say, but he probably killed way over a 100 people.

Saw that. Who doesn't love a good Mob movie??  :)

Originally, when they first pitched the Sopranos it was for a movie and not a tv series.. fun fact.

This movie came out this weekend, anyone else see it yet? I predict it being very divisive amongst the Sopranos die-hard fans. It’s not a Tony Soprano movie, so I predict a lot of people will be disappointed with how little that character is in the movie. In fact, large portions of this movie don’t feel like the Sopranos at all. Which to me was disappointing. There were a handful of moments I enjoyed though. Let me know what you guys think if any of you end up watching this

I saw it. I gotta admit that I was a little disappointed. I thought the movie was kinda boring.

A few cool things about it though.

I thought Junior was great. The voices and dialogue some of the character had was pretty good.

The movie was just ok. I'm just glad I didn't drop a C-note at the cinema for it.
