I don't know why I haven't seen that one yet, since I loved Band Of Brothers and I actually plan to re-watch that one again.  fvck it, I'll start on The Pacific as soon as I finish watching some of this The Man In The High Tower, which has been sorta interesting so far, it's about the Japs and Nazis having won WW2 and conquered the USA.

the Pacific is really good and definitely worth the time to watch. Not quite as good as Band of Brothers, but there are some really good scenes. Battle of Okinawa is a brutal episode. One of the worst of the entire war.

edit: Tudo posted before me and agreed.

I guess itís just simply different taste. I recently watched BoB again and itís not nearly as good as The Pacific. Both of them are must watch though.

The Pacific is more war-ish with the constant stress and grind part of it.

BoB didn't have a lot of the sleeping on the ground, digging and shitting in holes part of war except the 30 minutes it spent in Bastogne.   The Pacific isn't romanticized.

I've never been a big fan of the Marine Corps but those guys musta been fookin' HARD corps.

Teach that white privilege.
Blacks got to sit it out. They'd be next into the gas chambers if it weren't for the good whitey.

Its good for your brain to watch well made foreign films with subtitles.
Found this little gem, Free on Youtube. Gives you a different perspective.
Its pretty good.
t - 34. (If it wasn't for the t-34 tanks, the Germans probably would have won the war)
