Best bargain in MLB.

The Cleveland Indians picked up José Ramírez's $12 million contract option for 2022 on Friday after the All-Star third baseman had another MVP-caliber season.

In 2014,the Tigers rotation featured Cy Young Award winners Robbie Ray, Max Scherzer,Rick Porcello,David Price and Justin Verlander . I wonder what other rotation had more than three Cy Young Award chaps, yet the Bengals NEVER won a World Series. Wonder if that was skipper Jim Leyland's or GM David Dombrowski's fault ?

'71 Orioles had four 20 game winners and two Cy Young winners. Palmer, Cuellar McNally and Dobson. Not too shabby.

The '54 Indians rotation would have surely had at least 3 Cy Young winners...Bob Feller, Bob Lemon and Early Wynn. Wynn was the only actual winner because the award didn't start until 1956.Feller and Lemon had many Cy Young worthy seasons before 1956.

'98 Braves. Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz all Cy Young winners. I'd ride with those three every time.

And the 4th guy was Kevin Millwood, who was good back then.

Yeah! As good as Smotlzie was as a starter he might have been even better when he switched to relief.

213 Wins and 154 Saves? That is insane.

Guys who won the Cy Young this year had a 11-5 and 13-7 record respectively :lol

I know there are advanced stats these days that (rightfully) put less emphasis on won-loss record, and I saw that the Brewers guy was pretty dominant with like 240 strikeouts in 170 innings or some shit, but still.

Robbie Ray led the AL in ERA, Strikeouts and WHIP.

So what if he was only credited for 13 wins. There are so many other variables at play for a Pitcher to be given a W.
