Jim's fascination with Kathleen in Omaha
« on: January 12, 2022, 06:23:49 am »
I wish I could listen to the show live, but I have to listen to it delayed via podcast download like the dayd of Jungle Insider. Silver lining: I can fast forward interviews that I don't want to hear an every call from Kathleen in Omaha. I don't understand why Jim likes he so much. Half the time she doesn't even have a beef and takes up room on the beef segment. She says the same thing over and over and makes as much sense as Flamian. But at least Flamian is entertaining- you never know WHAT that dude is going to say. Kathleen's calls are tired, lame, and not funny. Even Matt in LA's shtick and terrible calls are tolerable compared to her. Thoughts?

I think maybe Jim tolerates her because he wants to have a token female on the show for diversity's sake and she is a regular caller. It's fine if she just sticks to the beef segment and at least her calls are over quickly.

It took me a minute to figure out what Avatar was, for a while I thought she was talking about the movie.

Dude, Flamian! Whenever Jim says he's going to him I stop everything and glue myself to the TV or radio. I would love to meet that guy someday. Sounds like a hoot!  :koolaid

Flamian IS the best- dont misunderstand me... my only point was that she is a incoherent as he is without being entertaining.

Not related.

Sidebar: I think Rome did TRodge dirty when he left the show after being a LONG time producer and fill-in host. The only time Dodger Jano has been on the show was when Travis had his 10yr anniversary with the show. And a 15 second "thank you" was cheap. I'm sure he was going to  a competitor, but he could have done better...

Impressed that she actually mixed in a sports take that didn't involve some player's luscious ass.
